Use Bootitng to restore Windows image onto freespace (entire HD).
Resize Windows image to suit total HD capacity. 
NB data partition mustbe of equal size or greater than Windows partition.  
Otherwise you cannot paste an image of Windows onto the data partition.

If the image will not boot use the Vista CD/DVD to repair partition
error. Apply the repairs and restart the PC normally.
