This disk can fix boot problems on Windows 8 64 too! The same boot repair can be performed by the Windows installation DVD. Most times changing the SATA settings in the bios to compatibility or IDE mode allowed my images of Windows to boot no problem! However, this option in the BIOS is often not present! Sometimes a restored image of Windows XP will not boot on first try. A black screen or a "disk read error" can be fixed by BootitNG. When viewing the properties of the boot partition the following pops up: Invalid Head and SPT Values exist in the BPB. Fix it? Yes/no. Type "Y" for yes to fix error. http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/bootit-next-generation.htm Sometimes I must complete a Windows XP repair installation over my images of Windows XP. On customer's motherboard my images of Win7 or vista give stop 07B error on boot. I boot the hard disk on my working motherboard. I hack the Windows registry: HKLM/SYSTEM/CURRENT CONTROL SET/SERVICES by changing msachi start value to 0 then pciide, to 1. If msachi is already set to 0 then I change it to 3, pcide already set to 1, change it to 0 Vista images modified by an Intel working motherboard that replaced a defective AMD motherboard that originally created the images, do not boot on AMD. The solution is to delete or disable intelppm.sys found in Windows/system32/drivers. This worked for my images of XP but NOT, Vista. My image of Windows 7, 64 bit does NOT boot on AMD neither. Sometimes the system refuses to boot Windows 7 because it does NOT like the loader that cracks the Windows: The solution is to boot without the loader into safe mode. Uninstall the loader. Then run removeWAT: https://db.tt/wkKkjYiz RemoveWAT 2.2.6.0 https://db.tt/fS0eAsv8 Windows XP crack https://db.tt/WWHqIQo4 Windows Vista and 7 loader crack https://db.tt/su6DWU5R 180 day Office 210 activator https://db.tt/D5mUraw8 Microsoft Toolkit Beta 2.5 activates Win 8.1 and Office. Before I deploy images of windows, I can save your documents, pictures, music, bookmarks, email, contacts, etc. For imaging, I use Bootit software: http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/bootit-next-generation.htm Generally most software cannot be saved but must be re-installed. I like to shop at Danforth Food Market, No Frills and Metro: http://danforthfoodmarket.com http://www.nofrills.ca http://www.metro.ca Long Fa Supermarket, 3372 Keele St, Toronto, Canada Millions of computers, from 2001 to 2006, are designed to run Windows XP. In fact 30% of all 1.25 Billion users of Windows run XP, 50% run Windows 7. April 08, 2014, Microsoft ended updates for Windows XP. I have never had any use for Windows updates and always turn it off! Actually, I have used Windows updates to install a Windows 7 driver I could not otherwise locate. After downloading and installing ONLY the driver, I disable the automatic Windows update service again. My images of Windows are NOT specifically licensed to the end user. Therefore, running automatic Windows updates may cause an activated Windows (via crack) to become deactivated with the "Not genuine" nag screen. To disable Windows updates, disable the automatic updtaes service and disable it in control panel too. My experience is entirely with standalone PCs. I have very limited knowledge of networking computers. You may have an IT department that maintains your computer systems. Remember, I do house calls. Also, I may repair the personal computers of your staff, friends, family or associates. Thanks in advance! http://drpcdr.ca Cell: 647 453 3327.
