start adwatch in autoblocking mode

Click proceed to save settings

click + beside cleaning engine

block active X installations
block IE save operations 
automatically popup event log if event ocurrs
automatically save event log on close
log adaware events

Click proceed to save settings

Ad-Watch must remain in your startup group (starts with Windows)

Norton Antivirus and Avast antivirus cannot co-exist!

Avast antivirus, is great!  It catches viruses from multiple
sources like chat, email, kazaa and browser.
It updates itself automatically and talks to ya!

When installing check automatically protect future email setup.

If you use Rogers highspeed then for SMTP server put:

68.185.95.99

For POP server put:

68.185.95.101

You may right click Avast icon in system tray
> on access protection control > Internet Mail > customize

To continue using Avast antivirus you must register at avast.com.

Sygate Personal Firewall is great!  It closes your open 
ports creating more difficulty for hackers to hack you. 
You can view the logs and backtrace to do a whois lookup on an IP address.

You may view the applications you allow or block.
After you install the firewall.

If you don't want to be nagged by the firewall then check remember my
preference first before you click yes or no.

You may put a password on your firewall to prevent other users from
changing it. Or you may right click on the system tray icon and select
hide icon.
