Disable Unread email messages showing at Windows logon screen

start >run >regedit >
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, 
called MessageExpiryDays

set value to zero. Exit registry. Restart PC to apply change.

login to each user account and repeat the above procedure.
